For the last 100 years, the Hovel at Housedean has been used as an animal shelter but it has now been lovingly converted into a boutique self catering holiday cottage.
Located on a working farm in the South Downs National Park, we are situated just outside Lewes and a few miles from Brighton.
The Hovel is an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful South Downs, with easy access by car, bus or bike. There are amazing walks on the doorstep along the South Downs Way, the coast is a short drive away and all the attractions of Lewes and Brighton are a short journey by pedal, bus or car.
